It’s HER time…

We know seminary is not always an option, especially for women. That's why we've created a PreacHER Academy for women who have natural giftedness but are under-resourcedWe will share all the knowledge and skills you would get in a seminary course but crafted to address the specific needs of a woman in the pulpit.

You’ve heard the call. Now it’s time to train to preach the WORD with FIRE!

“...his word is in my heart like a fire...I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot.” (JEREMIAH 20:9 NIV)

Meet Your Program Directors

Grace and Beth met while doing urban ministry in Fresno and found a common love for preaching and equipping women to step into the pulpit. These two seminary trained and talented pastors and church planters will train you to preach the WORD with FIRE.

Beth Paz

Beth Paz has dedicated her life to Jesus Christ to mobilize people to be the next generation of leaders to live out the Gospel and join God’s mission of justice and righteousness. She is currently pastoring college students and young adults at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, CA.

Beth is a passionate communicator of the Gospel and preaches at conferences and churches across the United States and internationally. She graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. During her time at Fuller, she received the 2018 Hooper–Keefe Preaching Award and the prestigious Parish Pulpit Fellowship (2019-2020) where she lived internationally in Guatemala and Albania.

Beth has traveled to over 30 countries and served as a North American delegate for the Lausanne 2016 Younger Leaders Movement (YLG 2016). She enjoys coffee, gardening succulents, boxing and reading. With 18 years of full-time ministry experience, she continues to cultivate and build the Kingdom of God with joy. See more of Beth’s story and listen one of her sermons HERE.

Grace Spencer

Grace fell in love with pastoring on the streets of downtown Fresno, CA, where she intentionally lived and worked for a neighborhood-focused church plant in an area of high-concentrated poverty. In her late twenties, she was navigating the Great White North as the lead pastor of church plant just outside of Toronto.

Before she was a pastor, Grace was mediating conflict between juvenile offenders and their victims at the Center for Peacemaking. Teaching about the vision of restorative justice and the work of the Center drew her to the pulpit. She has a MA in Theology and is an adjunct professor for the Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary. She has spoken at churches, conferences, and talk shows across North America and has contributed to multiple books, Christian magazines, and devotionals.

Most recently, she joined an Evangelical Covenant Church in San Jose, CA as the pastor of small groups and evangelism. Grace has experienced both pain and profound healing in church community - she’s seen breathtaking glimmers of what the Church can be and won't give up on that vision.
